It feels like only yesterday that we were proudly announcing our newest additions to the Glint Solar team. Yet here we are again, happily announcing seven more talented people set to help us take over the solar industry!

Meet Emilio
Next we have Emilio joining our Sales team as a Sales Development Rep! Emilio makes a great addition to our sales team with experience in business development and working at an NGO back in Mexico.
“The thing that excites me about working at Glint Solar is the fact that I’m a part of a young, forward-looking company that is innovative and focused on renewable energy. I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and forming connections with people from the companies I reach out to."
Fun Fact: Emilio was in an advert for Statens Vegvesen, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration!
Meet Urszula!

A new addition to Glint Solar’s GIS team is Urszula - a lover of Asian cuisine, Autumn mushroom foraging, and being a part of a company that cares about the environment.
“I’m joining Glint Solar as a GIS Specialist. That means I’m responsible for uploading new data layers to our solution and maintaining our systems and databases. I’m excited about working here because it’s an international company yet still feels cozy and family-like.”
Urszula also has quite a varied background, working as everything from a solution specialist in MarTech to a private tutor and bartender!
Fun Fact: Urszula likes to cook a lot of weird food and watch people’s reactions when they eat it! (We’ll need to ask her to explain more).
Meet Courtney!
Hailing originally from Texas, Courtney joins us as a Customer Success Manager, bringing a wealth of experience.
“I'm what Norwegians refer to as a ‘potato’ which means I've gathered a wide range of experiences across different fields. I've had the opportunity to work for an NFL team (go Bucs!) as well as in a freight forwarding company where I managed the import and export of ship spares. I'm also a certified sommelier, have run a kiosk in a small town in Norway and managed a frozen yogurt shop.
After spending some time in the corporate world, I’m thrilled to return to a smaller company where the potential for impact - both internally and externally - is truly within reach. I am particularly inspired by the important work that Glint Solar is doing in the solar industry. It makes me feel really proud to work for a company that is driving change, contributing to a better future for my son and the generations to come.”
Fun fact: Courtney has walked across Spain and summited Washington State's highest mountain (which also happens to be one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world!)
Meet Ioanna
Another addition to Glint Solar’s GIS team is Ioanna! Originally from Greece, Ioanna has worked for the official Greek land registry authority as a GIS analyst and has a strong background as a land surveyor engineer.
“The thing that excites me the most about working at Glint Solar is the fact that I’ll be working in such an innovative field that has a good impact on the environment. Working here is a great chance for me to try new things and research country-specific data, whilst also working alongside the Data Engineering team.”
Fun Fact: Each year, Ioanna tries to learn a new musical instrument. Apparently that can be a challenge for her neighbors…especially last year, when she brought bagpipes into her apartment.
Meet Karin!
Next up, we have our new Head of People and Culture - Karin! Karin brings experience spanning +20 years across companies big and small, as well as working as a consultant.
“Working with HR in a small company gives you a chance to try out, tweak and implement things (tools, processes etc) faster. You can achieve more and make the scope more personalized. And the fact that Glint is scaling makes it an exciting time to join. For me, working at a company that brings purpose to my job is a must. I definitely get here at Glint Solar.”
Fun Fact: Karin's snack of choice is Daim and her favourite meal is sushi!
Meet Matthew!
As an addition to Glint Solar’s marketing team, Matthew is our brand-new Content Manager. Matthew has worked across a range of industries in various marketing positions, but for the last couple of years has decided to specialize in copywriting, content, and SEO.
“After living in Norway for more than 2 years, I’ve learned that the Nordic countries are at the forefront of renewable tech. So joining Glint Solar is really exciting for me, especially right now as they build out the team further. It’s really cool to be a part of a company that’s striving to make the world a better place. Plus, the tech is awesome!”
Fun Fact: In 2017, Matthew completed a solo bike trip from Edinburgh to Cambridge totalling 720 kilometers and more than 9000 meters of climbing!
Meet Justyna
Justyna is the third addition to our GIS team, bringing with her a PhD and extensive scientific knowledge.
“I finished my PhD last year and have mostly done scientific work, especially permafrost modelling and research on periglacial slope processes. I was also a TA in GIS and remote sensing courses and used many GIS and remote sensing methods in my work. What excites me the most about working at Glint Solar is learning about the solar industry.”
